Drizly is now giving users a way to discover and support diverse-owned wine and spirit brands with their patronage. “Sip with Purpose” is a new program that seeks to drive the growth of brands owned by members of historically underrepresented groups in the alcohol industry. In a centralized hub, Drizly has compiled a list of AAPI-, Black-, Hispanic-, Latinx-, LGBTQIA-, Native-American- and woman-owned brands that are available in a shoppers’ area. Ciroc vodka, owned by Sean Combs or Diddy, and Teremana, created by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, are some of the brands featured in the initiative.

The launch of our 'Sip with Purpose' initiative is meant to further support and invest in these brands' continued success," said Cory Rellas, Drizly CEO. Additionally, Drizly is launching its “Sip with Purpose” Brand Accelerator Program that helps create equity within the alcohol industry. As part of the application for the program, brands will gain access to training and insights across three tiers of the industry, including producers, distributors, and retailers. Participants of the program will receive free advertising across the platform for 12 months as well as the brand’s premium data product to leverage marketplace insights.
